Development
Once understanding the initial purpose of your site IEG creates a variety of visual mockups that will dictate the look and feel of the website. The design of the online presentation will be developed so as to brand your company in a way consistent with the offline marketing. The mockups will explore a number of directions the site design could follow and will be created with substantial input from the client. Once a general direction is approved IEG will expand the design to include all branding, navigational and textual components so as to create a powerful visual depiction of your company online.
Site Navigation Architecture
IEG will create a detailed navigational schematic that accommodates for the desired action of the user in so far as making it easy to find what they came looking for. The schematic will clearly show all elements of the site and its content and will show rational as to where sections and subsections would be presented.
Site Content Architecture
IEG will aid in planning for the content requirements of the site in so far as what will the site say, tone of the text, and perceived value added components. IEG will also suggest the appropriate support features to be implemented (email accounts, feedback forms, Privacy Policy, terms of use etc.)
Marketing Components Architecture
In order to gain some value from the website, the website will need to create marketing opportunities for your company and its current and potential customers. In order to do this the site should include an email collection system. This will be tied into a newsletter service that will allow interested users to have email sent to them to inform them about your company’s product and promotions, special events or contests. IEG will work with your company to create the appropriate approach. Your company will have access to a control panel administration that will allow them to send out broadcast email at will.
